Finvestor Aura (“App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an Educational & Analytical mobile application operated in connection with RM World. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our App.
IMPORTANT: Finvestor Aura is strictly an Educational & Analytical Tool. We do not provide investment advice, buy/sell recommendations, or portfolio management. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. This Policy is about your personal data only, not about financial advice.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Account information (Google Sign-In)
When you sign in with Google, we may receive:
• Name
• Email address
• Profile photo URL
• Google account identifier
b) Subscription / purchase information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, Google Play processes the payment. We may store:
• Subscription status (e.g. free, Intra-Pulse, Aura Portfolio, Combo Pro)
• Purchase or entitlement related identifiers necessary to unlock educational features
We do not receive or store your full card or UPI details. Payments are handled by Google Play.
c) Device and app information
• Device type, OS version (as provided by the platform)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token – to send educational alerts / app notifications
• Basic app usage needed for core features (e.g. watchlist saved on our servers)
d) Content you provide
• Watchlist items you add
• Any feedback you send us by email
We do not collect precise location, contacts, SMS, or microphone data for the core features described above.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information to:
• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate login (Google Sign-In)
• Provide educational features (technical alerts view, academy, calculators, watchlist)
• Manage subscription access to premium educational modules
• Send push notifications related to educational alerts or important app updates (if you allow notifications)
• Improve stability, security, and user experience
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with law where required
We do not sell your personal information.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use trusted service providers:
• Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, and related services)
• Google Play Billing (subscriptions and payments)
• Google Sign-In
Their use of data is also governed by Google’s policies. We recommend reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
• Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (including Google Firebase).
• We use industry-standard protections such as encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• Access to backend systems is limited to authorised personnel.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain account and subscription-related data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion (see below). We may retain limited records if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention, dispute resolution).
6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on applicable law, you may:
• Access or update profile information (via Google account / App)
• Turn off notifications in device settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails if we ever send any (transactional / service messages may still be sent)
To request account or data deletion, email us at the contact below with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and the email used in the App.
7. CHILDREN
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 18 where required for financial-education style apps). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. EDUCATIONAL NATURE / NO LIABILITY FOR TRADING
The App provides educational and analytical information only. Any use of information for actual trading or investment decisions is solely at your own risk. We are not responsible for financial losses. Always do your own research and consult a SEBI-registered adviser if needed.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy. Material changes may be notified in the App or on our website.
